2013 Young Hollywood Awards

I'm sorry I didn't post on Thursday my computer wasn't working but it is now. So yeah! This week I thought I would talk about the Young Hollywood Awards. I found this picture of Anna Sophia Robb. Now I know that the picture isn't the best. She wore this very interesting floral printed dress. It looks good on her but I feel her bangs shoud be up or curled better. The look is a bit messy. I like the dress and so does Anna. I just feel it needed to be a little cleaner put together. I also decided to talk about the Young Hollywood Awards so I could talk about something different instead of just my outfits of the week.

August 1rst

I can't believe that today is the first day of August. The summer has went by soo fast. I can't believe that in like three weeks I'll be back in school. For my outfit of the week this week I thought it would be a new shirt I got from Rue 21. They have such great prices. It is a pink and camo tank top. I love how it is country but fashionable at the same time. It is a girly camo. I like camo but most of the camo shirts aren't for me. So I was supper happy to find a shirt that fit me soo well. I think you all should check out Rue 21.

This next picture is on a set of old desk that are at my house. It thought it was a good picture with the old background but modern clothing. Here you can see the whole shirt and just so you know I just decided to wear denim shorts with it. If you haven't noticed I usually just wear denim shorts or capris. Something like that. I don't usually wear colored pants or shorts.

This next picture I thought I would talk about my hair. My hair as you have seen in a lot of the pictures prefers to be curly. Here is a perfect example. My hair was super curly that day. Normally I scrunch my hair with gel or mousse. Here I decided just to pin my bangs up out of my face. I don't normally straighten my hair because my hair just is frizzy and with any moisture it curls.

P.S. If you love my blog leave a comment! Every comment means soo much to me.

Purple!

For my outfit of the week this week I decided I would incorporate my favorite color purple. Now this outfit is very purple but I feel it isn't too much. The tank top has almost like splatters of purple on it. The shorts are I would say lavender. I love how this outfit has what I like and shows part of my personality. It is a perfect outfit for summer because it is colorful and isn't just a black or white color scheme. I thought I would also say that this picture and every other picture of me except for the ones at Put-In-Bay were taken at my house. I love that I have so many beautiful backgrounds for pictures.

I thought that I would also talk about my bracelet. It is a Viva Beads bracelet. It is animal print. It has cheetah print, zebra, giraffe even. It also has a couple of beads that have all the prints in one. As you know if you've read my blog before that I love animal prints and this is no exception. You can get Viva Beads bracelets at almost any thrift store. I actually got mine at a craft show. They are just a great accessory.

P.S. I hope you check out my blog next Thursday for my new post. Also feel free to leave comments I appreciate each and every one.

Put-In-Bay

For those of you who don't know what Put-In-Bay is it is an island that is on Lake Erie. I went there this past week. It was the perfect day to go. It wasn't too hot and the waters were calm in the afternoon and the air was so clear. On Put-In-Bay is Perry's monument which is a monument to Oliver Hazard Perry. Part of the War of 1812 was actually fought on Lake Erie. It was amazing.

This first picture is of me behind a flower garden. I love this picture. It was taken outside of a cave. You can see my shirt which is an aeropostale shirt. It is lime green which green isn't one of my favorite colors so. I decided that I would try something different when I bought this shirt.

This picture was actually taken behind Perry's monument. You can see that lake Erie is behind me. BTW Lake Erie is one of the great lakes. I believe that it is the smallest. Another reason I bought this shirt besides the color was the way aero is on it. I love that it is like ribbon that spells out AERO. I thought it was so me and something that I had never seen them make.

This picture was taken in front of the same flower bed that I was behind in the first picture. You can see that I'm just wearing jean shorts so that is why I haven't really talk about my shorts. I got this shirt at aeropostale for like $3. I happened to go when they were having really great sales. I am happy that I choose to get this shirt even though it is green.

In this picture I'm standing next to a statue near the same cave where the flower bed pictures were taken. This statue actually doesn't mean anything it is just a decoration and I thought it looked cool. I just wore flip flops with this outfit. It was like an 80 degree day so if I wore any other shoe my feet would have had weird tan lines. Also we took a golf cart around so actually there wasn't much walking. On Put-In-Bay you can rent a golf cart and drive around on the island on the same roads as the cars. But most of the traffic on the island is golf carts.

P.S. I hope you check out my blog next Thursday for my new post. Also feel free to email me at kountry.kouture@yahoo.com

Floral top

This week for my outfit I decided that I would post about a floral/denim top that I wore. I love that it hit two trends in one. I love that the floral pattern isn't to wild or too over the top. With the shirt having navy blue in it it is perfect to then have some denim accents. I also like that it is button up and has a collar. I'm not one who usually is a fan of collars but this one worked. I got this shirt at Rue 21. It is the perfect summer shirt with it being sleeveless.

I love that the top doesn't have a lot of denim. The main attraction is the floral print and the denim just accents it. With it being button up it wasn't too hot for a summer day. But is definitely a summer shirt. It isn't an all year shirt. I love that Rue 21 has such great shirts and for such great prices. The clothes at Rue 21 are a steal.

Royal Preparations

For my outfit of the week this week I thought I would talk about Kate Middleton. First I would like to say that next week my outfit of the week will be of me I promise. This is the outfit she wore for her last official outing before giving birth. It is hard to believe that in this picture she is 8 months along. I love fascinators and I love that Kate's is the same color as her coat. I love the pale pink color it really suits her. I wonder if this is foreshadowing what gender the royal heir will be. I believe that even William and Kate don't know the gender. I wish them the best of luck. I think that Kate looks radiant and it makes every outfit she wears look gorgeous.

I also thought that I would talk about my cheetah flats. I had been wanting cheetah flats when I found these. So I was thrilled when I found them. I love that they had black lining and the bows are black string it helps to make the shows not overwhelmingly cheetah. I don't wear these that often but when I do they are quite comfortable. I am one who loves animal prints and am happy that someone decided that clothes and shoes should be those patterns. They are a genius! I hope you like the shoes as much as I do.

P.S. I hope you all have a Happy 4th of July! and Feel free to post comments!

Miss USA 2013

Last week was the Miss USA 2013 competition is Las Vegas. Even though Miss Connecticut Erin Brady won. The person who took the most publicity is Miss Utah. She got the most publicity for messing up her final question. Which I'm sure you already know. I decided that it would be a good occasion to talk fashion.

This first picture is of Miss Alabama. She ended up getting first runner-up by the way. She wore this beautiful black gown in the evening gown competition. I love that this dress has an mermaid bottom so it shows off her curves and makes her look skin look soo tan. It looks amazing on her.

The second picture is of Miss Pennsylvania she wore this dress walking into the competition. I thought it was really unusual for a beauty pageant because of it is a two piece that shows off her stomach. Also that it is polka-dotted. You never see that either. I like this dress but I'm not sure for a pageant.

This third picture is of Miss Connecticut being crowned as Miss USA by Miss Teen USA 2012. I like that Miss USA's dress isn't too over the top it is quite simple. It was a daring choice especially with the material at the bottom but I do love it. I thought I would also talk about Miss Teen USA 2012's dress. First since she is Miss Teen USA I love that it has long sleeves. (Notice the bold on teen because the long sleeves make it more appropriate). I love the sparkle on the sleeves and the belt I just really love this dress.

This next picture is of Miss Colorado. I love that she really embraced her very curly hair. You don't see that much in beauty pageants. Most of the girls have naturally straight hair and then have to curl it. I also love this color on her skin tone. It looks so great together. Now to her jewelry I'm surprised by the fact that she has a neon yellow necklace and neon bangles. I've never seen jewelry like that in a pageant. Her shoes are stunning but another thing that you don't see much.

This last picture is of Miss Utah. Yes she is the one that didn't answer her question the best. I do love that it is see through at the bottom. Also that it is white because it makes it such a classic dress with the color. Now I thought I would talk about Giuliana Rancic who was a host of the pageant. She wore a beautiful nude colored dress, I obviously love the sparkle at the top. But I love the nude feathers at the bottom. The feathers make it a fun dress.

P.S. I hope you all enjoyed my blog!

The Voice

This week was the voice season 4 finale. I saw some outfits that I just had to blog about. One was Bruno Mars he wore an all red suit. Which I don't know any guy that would wear that. Then on top of that he wore a animal print shirt. Bruno Mars is the only guy I know that could pull that off. Also he is the only guy I know that would wear those things let alone together. It was an outfit that I just thought I had to share.

Then another outfit was the one that Danielle Bradbery wore at the end of the show. First I thought I would say that she won season 4 of the voice. So congrats Danielle! This picture is her winning moment. She is 16 so the dress is a little mature for her but I still love it. I love that it is sparkly. It is a princess moment dress and it was her princess moment for sure. I will be looking forward to hearing Danielle's music in the future. I was thinking that she was going to win and I was right I hope you all check her out.

For my outfit of the week this week I chose a purple shirt that I paired with skinny jeans. Now I thought I would also say that I am aware that this shirt is in another picture on my blog with another goat. I loved that this shirt had some sparkle on the front. I loved that the sleeves were lace and purple lace. Which makes it sooo much cooler. Also on the back it had this cool bow design. It is one of my favorite shirts.

P.S. I hope you all like the changes to my blog. I feel it suits my personality more now.

Neon

For my outfit of the week this week it is pretty simple. I wore a neon yellow and blue shirt with jeans. Since I just wore jeans they're not in the picture. The shirt has a beaded butterfly on the front which isn't my favorite part of this look by far. But I love that it is neon and makes a statement.

I chose a bracelet that is magnetic to talk about this week. It has purple beads on it as well as clear beads. I like that it is magnetic but it grabs everything metal silverware, etc. I like that it is purple because that is my favorite color. This is one of my favorite bracelets! It can go with any look even though it has purple on it because it's not too much purple.

P.S. Don't forget to check out my blog next week. I post new posts every Thursday!

Purses!

For this week I thought that I would talk about one of my purses. My aunt got this one for me, it is a awesome greenish purse that has cut outs that add a certain edge to it. The bad thing about it is that it has no pockets on the inside and where you can put stuff in it doesn't go the whole length of the purse. You can see the white towards the bottom, that part you can't put stuff in. So it is relatively small. I got this purse for $10 at a craft show. You can find all kinds of neat things at craft shows and flea markets. I would definitely recommend going to one.

For my outfit of the week for this week I thought I would talk about Fan Bing Bing at Cannes in France. In case you don't know who she is, she is an chinese actress who has done various cultures movies and is becoming an internationaly known actress. She wore this beautiful yellow Elie Saab gown. I love that it is sparkly at the top. I love the simply elegant clutch and earings they balance the look perfectly. I love the lip color on her it is gorgeous with her skin tone. I also like the braided bangs and her hair being up. This outfit is perfection and I don't even like yellow.

Pandora Bracelet

For this week I thought I would talk about something that isn't very unique. Like almost everyone else I have a Pandora bracelet. The thing that is unique about mine is that I have a bracelet that isn't the normal (the one that is hard to get on and off) I have one that just slips over your wrist. I have a normal brcaelet but that one was a hassle to get on and off so I decided to get something easier. I have quite a bit of charms (not as many as one person I know, she changes all her charms for each season). Not everyone of my charms has a special meaning. Which I don't know if that is good or bad.

My outfit of the week for this week is a gray shirt with a cool lace back and bright pink/purple skinny jeans. I love statement pieces and the jeans definetaly are that. I paired the jeans with a simple shirt because it is so bold. Imagine if I would have worn a neon shirt. I would have looked like a highlighter. I do love neon colors and hope to add more to my wardrobe. You can't see the back of the shirt but like I previously said it has a lace design which makes the shirt not too blah.

Rings

I have this cool purple ring that on the side it has hearts designed into it. I love this ring because well mainly the color. Purple is my favorite color. The only bad thing is that it fits on my ring finger and I have a class ring for that finger so I have to wear one or the other. Because you don't notice the color you can wear it with any color. I think that most girls should have some ring that is just a cool fun ring until they get married and get rings with real jems.

My outfit of the week actually isn't me it is Beyonce. She wore this fiery dress to the Met ball and it caused quite a stir. She has since been rumored to be pregnant. Do you think she is? I think she might be but this is just something that Beyoce would wear so I don't think it necessarily means she is pregnant. Beyonce always wears crazy wild outfits that not many people would wear and this is no exception. I feel it doesn't matter whether she is pregnant or not just that she is happy and she appears to be.

Necklaces!

So for this week I thought I would talk a little about one of my necklaces. This one I got from my confirmation sponsor my cousin. This necklace is simple but it can add a finishing touch to an outfit. On the necklace at the boottom it says Faith. I know that you can't read it well in this picture. I am so happy that my cousin thought to get me something that I can wear with everything and for forever. I hope you all like it too. I think you pretty much can't have too many necklaces. That way you have one that goes with every outfit.

For this week's outfit of the week I thought I woud show you a simple outfit that works for anyone. I wore a black and white shirt. It had some parts that were like glitter. Then I wore capri's and sandals that go with everything. if you haven't noticed I like to wear versatile pieces. I love the sandals the color is called pewter. It is a weird name but I like the silvery color of them.

2nd Week!

So this is my second week now on my normal posting schedule. This week I thought I would talk a little bit about class rings. I got my class ring a few months ago so I thought I would talk to you about all different options for a class ring. You can get your normal bulky class ring with either two or three clubs, sports, etc. on it. Or there are options that are more of a decorative ring where the band wraps into each other or like mine which is a pretty simple style which is why it is called vintage. It is a ring style that I might actually wear after high school. I feel your ring should fit your personality and mine definitely does that. So here is a picture of my class ring.

My class ring just has a simple shaped stone in the middle. Which it is aquamarine (my birthstone). Then two little diamonds on the outside of the main stone with a band that has my name and the year I graduate on it. Also it has a KB engraved on the inside of the ring but you can't really see it.

My outfit of the week is a long plaid button-up shirt. I wore a black belt with it and black skinny jeans. I just thought it was fun choice. It was something different that I don't normally wear. I hope you all like it too!

First Post!

So this my first post on my regular day Thursday. So like I said in my previous post I am having an outfit of the week. I also thought I would show you pictures of my favorite trend of the fall, SCARVES! I love how they can completely change an outfit. These are pictures of three of my scarves. I love the pink one because it is simple yet in the winter time it helps add some fun to your look in the blah days of winter. I love the zebra and cheetah one because they're animal print and it adds some sass to your look!

My outfit of the week is a yellow neon button up shirt with a belt. I thought I would also show you the cheetah shoes that I wore with it. Since you can't see the shirt really well in the picture of me in my outfit here is a picture of my shirt. As for my hair what I did is scrunched my hair then took my hair back like I was going to put it half up and braided it into two braids. I love neon right now it is just so bright and colorful! I love that you definitely stand out.

P.S. Visit my blog every week I put up new post every Thursday! Also feel free to comment on my post. ;)

Style!

I thought I would show you some stuff that I wear normally.  In the first picture is me with my hair scrunched. Which btw is what I normally do with it my hair doesn't like to be staight. Then I thought I would show you a picture of the shirt I wore with it. Honestly I don't like to wear aeropostale shirts that often but that day was the exception.

P.S. I am going to start blogging every Thursday so come back every Thursday to read my newest post. And I will be having an outfit of the week. Which is my favorite outfit that I wore each week.

Baby Style

I have been watching what Kim Kardashian has been wearing during her pregnancy. I like some of the stuff she wears like her in a blue Lanvin dress and those shoes are to die for. However I do not like her in a blue inappropriately cut dress by Julien Macdonald the cutouts are on her stomach. I mean really your pregnant. Also I hate her outfit when she wore a white Thierry Mugler suit. I like Kim when she goes in beautiful dresses that show her confidence and not her quirky side. I love the Duchess of Cambridge's pregnancy style she looks so poised and it is just perfection. She dresses her age like when she wore a green Emilia Wickstead coat.

P.S. I can't wait until they have they babies!!

The Oscars

As you know The Oscars were this past weekend. Everyone looked so beautiful. Jennifer Lawrence in Dior Haute Couture looked like such a California Beach babe. She has never looked better. Jennifer Aniston looked great in Valentino but now that I know she never wears her hair up I think she needs to. I mean don't get me wrong she has great hair but still. Anne Hathaway looked okay in Prada but I feel she really should have gone for it. I realize their was a last minute dress change but she should have gone with the Valentino she was originally going to wear. Amy Adams in Oscar de la Renta looked like such a princess. This was her fairy tale moment. One of my best dressed. Stacy Kiebler looked elegant in Naeem Khan. I liked how she looked dressed for the Oscars but without outshining the nominees. Jessica Chastain in Giorgio Armani looked good the nuetral tone really brought out her skin. Jennifer Garner in Gucci looked great. I loved the purple on her. Another best dressed. Charlize Theron looked great in her white gown. But it looks too much like Anne Hathaway's Golden Globe gown. Kristin Stewart in Reem Acra looks amazing but she doesn't look happy to be there. Even if she isn't she could at least pretend she is. Naomi Watts in Giorgio Armani looks absolutely amazing. I love the cut-outs. Definetaly a best dressed. Amanda Seyfried in Alexander McQueen looked amazing but her and Anne should have gotten together so one of the could have gotten a better dress. Since it is like Anne's original. Adele in Jenny Packham looked good its a usual choice for her. Nicole Kidman looked good but her dress didn't photograph well. Reese Witherspoon in Louis Vuitton looks great I love the color on her. Sandra Bullock in Elie Saab looked amazing I loved this on her. Quvenzhane Wallis in Giorgio Armani looked so cute and age apporopriate. I love the color of Helen Hunt's H&M dress. Jennifer Hudson in Roberto Cavalli looked amazing. Another best dressed. Channing and Jenna Tatum looked soo cute together showing the baby bump. Kerry Washington in Miu Miu looked gorgeous I loved it. Fan BingBing looked interesting but I liked it.

P.S. I'm sad that award season is over but I will continue blogging

2013 Grammy Awards!

The Grammies were this past weekend. I always love the fashion at the Grammies it is such a risk taking award show. Remember Lady Gaga in an egg and Nicki Minaj in a religious outfit. This year was no different. I absolutely loved Rihanna in Alaia the color was soo exquisite with her skin tone. I liked Katy Perry in Gucci but the color wasn't my favorite, she showed of her best asset. I like Beyonce in Osmanin she wore a pant suit which is a nice change from her normal. Jennifer Lopez in Zuhair Murad needs to get a clue she is 42 and has 2 kids dress appropriately. I'm tired of her dressing like she's 25 she has an amazing body I get that but show it off appropriately for your age. Taylor Swift in J. Mendel is another one of my favorites its simple and sweet and I love the braid in her hair. She really is stepping her fashion and doing a pretty good job. I liked Justin Timberlake in Tom Ford I like him clean shaven I guess marriage suits him. Alicia Keys in Alaia had too much skin showing but I guess she's 32 and has a rocking body so why not at her age. I loved Carrie Underwood in Roberto Cavalli I loved the beautiful designs it was a nice change for her. It was definitely one of my favorites. I liked Adele in Valentino she normally doesn't take risks so it was nice, the color suits her. Carly Rae Jepsen in Roberto Cavalli looked elegant it's nice to see her in dress she doesn't wear dresses often. Florence Welch in Givenchy was definitely  interesting. The dress wouldn't look right anywhere else. Faith Hill and Tim McGraw looked like such a put together happy couple I love it. I loved how elegant Miranda Lambert looked in black Roberto Cavalli. I also loved Kelly Rowland in Georges Chakra.I loved how carefully placed the cut outs were. Solange Knowles looked good in her emerald green dress but it is time for a new hair style. Natasha Bedingfield in Emerson looked pretty I liked it. Kimbra's look was interesting but I hated it. I loved Kaley Cuoco she didn't attract  much attention to herself. Bonnie McKee's dress was gorgeous but she needs to cut and die her hair a different color. My favorite look has to be Rihanna she looked fab.

P.S. Happy Valentine's Day! and I hope you look at my blog for the Oscars

SAG Awards

So again I know I'm a little late posting but it was only like 8 days ago. This I loved Jessica Chastain in Alexander McQueen I liked her soft curls. I loved the color on her. It was unexpected. I loved the color and dresses of Jennifer Lawrence in Dior and Amanda Seyfried in Zac Posen but the colors were close to the same. Nicole Kidman in Vivienne Westwood was interesting but it's growing on me. I loved Naomi Watts in Marchesa I liked that it was a subtle and I loved her hair the retro curls look great on her. I'm not really sure how I feel about Nina Dobrev in Elie Saab. The slits were in a weird place I feel they could have been better placed. But I loved the pink on her. Katrina Bowden looked beautiful in Badgley Mischka. This is definetaly one of my favorites. Freida Pinto in Roland Mouret was interesting I feel she could have done better. I loved Giuliana Rancic she looked gorgeous in Max Azria. It is another favorite. My favorite part is the color. I liked Tina Fey in Oscar de la Renta but she almost always wear black. But her hair was a nice change of pace. Anne Hathaway in Giambattista looked elegant but edgy. I love how much she is experimenting with fashion since Les Miserables. I loved Sarah Hyland it was such a fun choice and a beautifully crafted dress. Michelle Dockery in Chado Ralph Rucci looked good but the cuts were in not good places. Lea Michele in Valentino was very bright I didn't like the dress and she needs to try something different with her hair I know she tried but it didn't pay off. Sofia Vergara in Donna Karan looked good and it was a nice change. Ariel Winter looked age appropriate in Alex Perry it was a princess moment. Overall everyone looked great. My favorite of the SAG Awards was Amanda Seyfried.

BTW this weekend is the Grammies can't wait!

Golden Globes

Sorry it's a little late to post about the golden globes. But I decided to anyway. I loved Claire Danes she was a bombshell it that red Versace dress. BTW she had a kid a month ago crazy! I liked Anne Hathaway but it wasn't my favorite in that Chanel. I love her pixie haircut though. Jessica Chastain I hated her look first let's start with the slicked back hair absoulutely horrible. I liked the color but didn't like the style of the dress. I liked Jennifer Garner she looked so elegant. I liked Jennifers Lopez but she's like 42 and a mom she needs to start dressing more appropriate. I also loved Jessica Alba and Nicole Richie.

BTW Keep following my blog very soon I will be blogging about the SAG awards.
