The Oscars

As you know The Oscars were this past weekend. Everyone looked so beautiful. Jennifer Lawrence in Dior Haute Couture looked like such a California Beach babe. She has never looked better. Jennifer Aniston looked great in Valentino but now that I know she never wears her hair up I think she needs to. I mean don't get me wrong she has great hair but still. Anne Hathaway looked okay in Prada but I feel she really should have gone for it. I realize their was a last minute dress change but she should have gone with the Valentino she was originally going to wear. Amy Adams in Oscar de la Renta looked like such a princess. This was her fairy tale moment. One of my best dressed. Stacy Kiebler looked elegant in Naeem Khan. I liked how she looked dressed for the Oscars but without outshining the nominees. Jessica Chastain in Giorgio Armani looked good the nuetral tone really brought out her skin. Jennifer Garner in Gucci looked great. I loved the purple on her. Another best dressed. Charlize Theron looked great in her white gown. But it looks too much like Anne Hathaway's Golden Globe gown. Kristin Stewart in Reem Acra looks amazing but she doesn't look happy to be there. Even if she isn't she could at least pretend she is. Naomi Watts in Giorgio Armani looks absolutely amazing. I love the cut-outs. Definetaly a best dressed. Amanda Seyfried in Alexander McQueen looked amazing but her and Anne should have gotten together so one of the could have gotten a better dress. Since it is like Anne's original. Adele in Jenny Packham looked good its a usual choice for her. Nicole Kidman looked good but her dress didn't photograph well. Reese Witherspoon in Louis Vuitton looks great I love the color on her. Sandra Bullock in Elie Saab looked amazing I loved this on her. Quvenzhane Wallis in Giorgio Armani looked so cute and age apporopriate. I love the color of Helen Hunt's H&M dress. Jennifer Hudson in Roberto Cavalli looked amazing. Another best dressed. Channing and Jenna Tatum looked soo cute together showing the baby bump. Kerry Washington in Miu Miu looked gorgeous I loved it. Fan BingBing looked interesting but I liked it.

P.S. I'm sad that award season is over but I will continue blogging

2013 Grammy Awards!

The Grammies were this past weekend. I always love the fashion at the Grammies it is such a risk taking award show. Remember Lady Gaga in an egg and Nicki Minaj in a religious outfit. This year was no different. I absolutely loved Rihanna in Alaia the color was soo exquisite with her skin tone. I liked Katy Perry in Gucci but the color wasn't my favorite, she showed of her best asset. I like Beyonce in Osmanin she wore a pant suit which is a nice change from her normal. Jennifer Lopez in Zuhair Murad needs to get a clue she is 42 and has 2 kids dress appropriately. I'm tired of her dressing like she's 25 she has an amazing body I get that but show it off appropriately for your age. Taylor Swift in J. Mendel is another one of my favorites its simple and sweet and I love the braid in her hair. She really is stepping her fashion and doing a pretty good job. I liked Justin Timberlake in Tom Ford I like him clean shaven I guess marriage suits him. Alicia Keys in Alaia had too much skin showing but I guess she's 32 and has a rocking body so why not at her age. I loved Carrie Underwood in Roberto Cavalli I loved the beautiful designs it was a nice change for her. It was definitely one of my favorites. I liked Adele in Valentino she normally doesn't take risks so it was nice, the color suits her. Carly Rae Jepsen in Roberto Cavalli looked elegant it's nice to see her in dress she doesn't wear dresses often. Florence Welch in Givenchy was definitely  interesting. The dress wouldn't look right anywhere else. Faith Hill and Tim McGraw looked like such a put together happy couple I love it. I loved how elegant Miranda Lambert looked in black Roberto Cavalli. I also loved Kelly Rowland in Georges Chakra.I loved how carefully placed the cut outs were. Solange Knowles looked good in her emerald green dress but it is time for a new hair style. Natasha Bedingfield in Emerson looked pretty I liked it. Kimbra's look was interesting but I hated it. I loved Kaley Cuoco she didn't attract  much attention to herself. Bonnie McKee's dress was gorgeous but she needs to cut and die her hair a different color. My favorite look has to be Rihanna she looked fab.

P.S. Happy Valentine's Day! and I hope you look at my blog for the Oscars

SAG Awards

So again I know I'm a little late posting but it was only like 8 days ago. This I loved Jessica Chastain in Alexander McQueen I liked her soft curls. I loved the color on her. It was unexpected. I loved the color and dresses of Jennifer Lawrence in Dior and Amanda Seyfried in Zac Posen but the colors were close to the same. Nicole Kidman in Vivienne Westwood was interesting but it's growing on me. I loved Naomi Watts in Marchesa I liked that it was a subtle and I loved her hair the retro curls look great on her. I'm not really sure how I feel about Nina Dobrev in Elie Saab. The slits were in a weird place I feel they could have been better placed. But I loved the pink on her. Katrina Bowden looked beautiful in Badgley Mischka. This is definetaly one of my favorites. Freida Pinto in Roland Mouret was interesting I feel she could have done better. I loved Giuliana Rancic she looked gorgeous in Max Azria. It is another favorite. My favorite part is the color. I liked Tina Fey in Oscar de la Renta but she almost always wear black. But her hair was a nice change of pace. Anne Hathaway in Giambattista looked elegant but edgy. I love how much she is experimenting with fashion since Les Miserables. I loved Sarah Hyland it was such a fun choice and a beautifully crafted dress. Michelle Dockery in Chado Ralph Rucci looked good but the cuts were in not good places. Lea Michele in Valentino was very bright I didn't like the dress and she needs to try something different with her hair I know she tried but it didn't pay off. Sofia Vergara in Donna Karan looked good and it was a nice change. Ariel Winter looked age appropriate in Alex Perry it was a princess moment. Overall everyone looked great. My favorite of the SAG Awards was Amanda Seyfried.

BTW this weekend is the Grammies can't wait!
